Tandem Skydiving
The tandem skydive is designed to give a first time
sky diver the thrill and experience with minimal
training. Personalized instruction in free fall and
canopy control helps the tandem student
understand skydiving from a highly trained tandem
master. About 30 minutes of ground training, and
then you are up and away with your instructor
soaring almost three miles above the earth. With
beautiful views of Lake Okeechobee and sprawling
fields of sugar cane, you will learn how to fly your
body and parachute through the sky, landing safely
at Airglades Airport. The free fall portion lasts
about 1 minute and then another 6 to 7 minutes
under the parachute.
